美国互联网服务提供商Bluepeak今日宣布，将采用Harmonic的cOS虚拟化宽带平台、Pearl远程OLT及SeaStar光节点，以推动其光纤网络扩张并有效进入多住户单元（MDU）市场。

　　根据协议，Harmonic的云原生平台将使Bluepeak能够以灵活的步伐扩展无源光网络（PON）服务，同时最大化其现有基础设施的价值。Bluepeak技术工程与运营副总裁Eric Fligel表示，此举旨在帮助更多社区获得快速、可靠的互联网接入，为居民和企业创造新机遇。

　　针对以往服务成本较高的低密度MDU环境，Bluepeak将利用Harmonic的SeaStar光节点。该方案无需进行破坏性的建筑内部重新布线，可通过复用现有同轴电缆，以更具成本效益的方式将光纤级的多千兆宽带连接扩展至此类“棕地”MDU环境。Harmonic全球销售高级副总裁Jeffrey Glahn指出，这避免了不必要的过度建设，减少了社区内的施工干扰。

　　此外，Harmonic的Central AI网络智能工具将为Bluepeak提供实时网络可视性，助其主动优化用户体验。Bluepeak目前为美国中西部多个州的超过50万户家庭和企业提供服务。
