伦敦证券交易所将在常规交易时段之外开设一个新交易场所，旨在工作周内提供“近乎连续的交易”。
根据周二发布的一份声明，这一名为“LSE 24”的新交易场所将在伦敦时间下午5点至次日上午7点50分运营，预计将于2026年底前开放客户测试。该交易场所将独立于交易所的主市场运行，主市场将继续照常运作。
交易所交易产品（ETP）将成为该平台的首批可交易资产，预计将于2027年上半年上线。
伦敦证券交易所首席执行官Julia Hoggett表示，LSE 24将为客户提供“超越传统交易时间的更大灵活性”，同时提升市场流动性和参与度。
此举正值这家拥有300年历史的交易所动荡之际。由于难以吸引新上市公司，首次公开募股（IPO）成为伦敦证券交易所的关注焦点，最终导致该平台跌出全球前20名。
