英国国家统计局7月21日公布的数据显示，截至5月的三个月内，英国失业率为4.9%，与截至4月的三个月持平，低于经济学家预期的5.0%。同期剔除奖金的年度工资增长率维持在3.4%，连续第三个月保持不变，表明企业成本压力趋于稳定。

　　英格兰及威尔士特许会计师协会首席经济学家指出，数据表明劳动力市场仍然脆弱，高额就业税及伊朗战争带来的经济不确定性持续抑制企业招聘意愿。失业率处于高位进一步强化了市场对英格兰银行下周货币政策会议维持利率不变的预期。尽管决策层此前警告若伊朗冲突推高的能源价格开始向更广泛通胀传导将作出回应，但劳动力市场降温显示国内需求疲软，限制了企业提价空间。

　　英格兰银行行长安德鲁·贝利上周表示，中东局势虽仍“不稳定”，但能源价格上涨对英国通胀的传导效应迄今有限，相关证据持续偏弱。数据显示，5月消费者价格指数意外持稳于2.8%，低于预期。定于本周三公布的6月数据预计将显示通胀进一步回落。

　　分析人士同时提醒，中东冲突升级可能进一步抑制招聘和商业信心，拖累劳动力市场，同时维持能源价格高位，增加通胀较决策层预期更为持久的风险。
