ChainCatcher 消息，尼日利亚总统 Bola Ahmed Tinubu 已签署行政令，以协调虚拟资产监管，加强该国金融、税务和资本市场机构之间的合作，并处理数字资产监管碎片化问题。该行政令设立由尼日利亚主要金融监管机构负责人组成的虚拟资产委员会，负责指导相关政策。尼日利亚税务机关将更新数字资产政策，并就对纳税人的影响提供更多细节。
总统特别顾问 Bayo Onanuga 表示，该行政令不设立新监管机构，也不在机构之间转移权力；各机构保留法定职责和独立性，注册要求将依据活动性质和所涉资产确定。国际货币基金组织（IMF）6 月报告显示，自 2019 年以来，尼日利亚约占撒哈拉以南非洲稳定币流入量的 60%；2023 年 7 月至 2024 年 6 月，该国加密货币流入量约为 590 亿美元。
