Inspur Electronic Information Industry (SHE:000977) will invest 100 million yuan in a 700-million-yuan venture fund.
The fund, dubbed Hao Fund, will mainly focus on strategic emerging fields such as artificial intelligence, according to a Thursday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.
Inspur Electronic Information Industry will hold a 14% stake as a limited partner.
Shares of the information technology infrastructure products company closed 3% higher Thursday.
