Japan's Private Sector Output Accelerates in July, Flash PMI Shows

Japan's private sector output gathered pace in July, according to preliminary data from S&P Global published Friday.
The headline seasonally adjusted S&P Global Flash Japan PMI Composite Output Index came in at 53.1 in July, compared with 52.8 a month ago.
Overall output rose at the fastest pace since February, led by the steepest increase in manufacturing production since February 2014, the data showed.
