智通财经APP获悉，7月23日，香港会计及财务汇报局与马来西亚证券监督委员会在马来西亚吉隆坡签署谅解备忘录，正式建立策略伙伴关系，旨在加强香港与马来西亚就审计监督和财务报告合规方面的跨境监管合作。
该谅解备忘录为双方就核数师监管和发行人财务汇报合规方面，提供咨询、信息交流及协助的框架，包括核数师的注册或认可、查察、调查、查询、执法、监察，以及案件转介。
会财局主席孙德基表示，此谅解备忘录反映了会财局与马来西亚证券监督委员会共同在加强监管合作、维护市场诚信，以及支持两地资本市场健康发展方面的优先事项。透过日后更紧密的合作，可以进一步提升财务汇报及审计质素，同时增加投资者及其他持分者的信心。
马来西亚证券监督委员会主席拿督莫哈末法依兹表示，马来西亚资本市场蓝图2026-2030旨在实现更强的区域互联互通及跨境投资。马来西亚证券监督委员会与会财局签署的这份谅解备忘录，将促进稳健的跨境合作，这对维持资本市场的信任及韧性至关重要。
