Nordic Nickel Says Step-Out Drilling at Finland Gold-Copper Project Shows Extensive Mineralization; Shares Up 3%

Nordic Nickel (ASX:NNL) said step-out diamond core drilling at the Kopsa gold-copper project in Finland revealed extensive mineralization to the southwest of the deposit, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of 34 meters at 0.92 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold, 0.1% grade of copper, and 2 g/t grade of silver from 231 meters, 29 meters at 0.79 g/t grade of gold, 0.1% grade of copper, and 2 g/t grade of silver from 261 meters, as well as 44 meters at 0.40 g/t grade of gold, 0.2% grade of copper, and 3 g/t grade of silver from 208 meters.

Results from the Kopsa metallurgical program are expected during the September quarter, the company said.

Nordic Nickel's shares jumped nearly 3% in recent trading on Wednesday.
