路透7月23日 - 易捷航空 EZJ.L 首席执行官肯顿·贾维斯（Kenton Jarvis）周四就路透的一篇报道回应称，一旦这家英国航空公司收到任何一家竞购方的正式报价，便计划就所有权规定与欧盟监管机构联系。
路透周三报道称，欧盟可能收紧航空公司所有权规定 (link)，这可能会使易捷航空拟议中的收购计划 (link) 变得更加复杂。
欧盟要求航空公司的多数股权必须由欧盟实体持有并控制，而易捷航空的两家竞购方——阿波罗（Apollo） APO.N 和卡斯尔莱克（Castlelake）——均总部位于美国。该航空公司已支持阿波罗提出的57亿英镑(76亿美元) 收购方案，而非卡斯尔莱克提出的较低报价。
“董事会评估任何报价时，既会考虑价值，也会考虑可实施性，而可实施性涉及——你知道的——作为欧洲盟友并受相应监管，”贾维斯表示，并补充说易捷航空和阿波罗很可能会“携手”与监管机构进行沟通。
