路透7月22日 - 美国铁路运营商CSX（CSX.O）周三公布，其第二季度利润和营收均实现增长，强劲的多式联运业务和更高的运价帮助抵消了货运市场面临的严峻挑战。

铁路行业受益于与消费支出相关的韧性多式联运需求，这使得CSX等运营商得以挺过煤炭运输的长期低迷以及工业经济部分领域的疲软。
多式联运量是指利用铁路、卡车和船舶等多种运输方式运输的货运总量，在转换运输方式时无需对货物本身进行装卸。
报告期内，总燃料支出从一年前的2.69亿美元升至4.46亿美元。
这家总部位于佛罗里达州杰克逊维尔的公司第二季度营收同比增长10%，达到39.4亿美元。
该公司报告称，本季度净利润约为10亿美元，即每股54美分，而去年同期为8.29亿美元，即每股44美分。
