WiseTech Global (ASX:WTC) shares fell past 4% in recent Friday trade as fears related to artificial intelligence spending gripped broader tech markets.
US tech stocks took a beating on Thursday, with Google parent Alphabet shedding nearly 7% at the close of trading and Nvidia dropping almost 2%. Tesla's US shares were down nearly 15% at Thursday's close.
Meanwhile, Brent crude futures were above the $100 per barrel mark amid a widening US-Iran conflict in the Middle East.
