Nextdc Leaves Bulls Speculating on Customer Identity

0228 GMT - A lack of detail in NextDC's latest contract announcement leaves UBS analysts speculating about the identity of the customer. With no information forthcoming from the Australian data-center operator, the analysts note that the size of the contract aligns very closely with the AI factory collaboration announced last month by Sharon AI and Nvidia. They write in a note that NextDC's S4 and M2 centers are the only viable locations for an AI factory contract, if that is what it is. In that case, they add that M2 may not have any spare capacity if it is the site. UBS has a last-published buy rating on the stock and a target price of 22.55 Australian dollars. Shares are down 0.2% at A$14.03. (stuart.condie@wsj.com)
