Shanghai Junshi's Toripalimab Supplemental Application Accepted in China

Shanghai Junshi Biosciences' (HKG:1877, SHA:688180) supplemental application to expand the indication of toripalimab (TUOYI) for resectable non-small cell lung cancer has been accepted by China's National Medical Products Administration, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The application seeks to expand the approved patient population to include adult patients with resectable stage II-III NSCLC, from the current stage IIIA-IIIB indication, with toripalimab used in combination with platinum-based chemotherapy as perioperative treatment, followed by toripalimab monotherapy as adjuvant treatment.

Shanghai-listed shares of the biopharmaceutical company were up nearly 2%, while Hong Kong-listed shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
