Conmed (CNMD) said Wednesday that its AirSeal Robotic Solution is now indicated for use with Intuitive's 8 mm hex cannulas on the da Vinci 5 surgical platform.
The company said AirSeal's expanded indication allows its use across Intuitive's da Vinci X, da Vinci Xi and da Vinci 5 robotic systems.
Conmed said the regulatory approval follows engineering and technical compatibility testing conducted with Intuitive.
Shares of Conmed were up 1.7% in premarket activity Wednesday.
