Pentair's Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Net Sales Decline; Q3 Outlook Issued

Pentair (PNR) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $1.14 per diluted share, down from $1.39 a year earlier.
Three analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.04.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $932.6 million, compared with $1.12 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $943.2 million.
The company expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $1.05 to $1.08 and about a 4% to 6% decline in sales. Analysts expect $1.03 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $978.2 million.
For 2026, Pentair reiterated its outlook of $4.60 to $4.80 in adjusted EPS and a decline of about 4% to 7% in sales. Analysts expect $4.36 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $3.96 billion.
Pentair stock was down more than 5% premarket Tuesday.
