South Korea signed a memorandum of understanding with US chipmaker AMD for bilateral cooperation in the AI semiconductor ecosystem, according to a Monday release from the Ministry of Science and ICT.
Under the agreement signed on July 23, the parties will establish the AMD Artificial Intelligence Excellence Research Center in the country and conduct AI research for science.
