ChainCatcher 消息，据 TechCrunch 报道，苹果公司因 App Store 安全性问题被起诉，三名原告称被诱导下载了欺诈性加密钱包应用 Sparrow Wallet，而该应用官方版本并不适用于 iOS，原告累计损失超 180 万美元——James Ramirez 损失约 87.5 万美元，Christopher Ellis 损失约 84 万美元，Jalen Delgado 损失约 12 万美元。
诉讼指控苹果明知欺诈应用存在仍允许其留在 App Store，并利用其安全承诺作为营销手段抵制第三方应用商店和侧载。原告要求陪审团审判、赔偿损失并公开 App Store 风险。苹果未就诉讼置评，但表示仿冒应用违反其指南，将迅速移除，目前 App Store 已无 Sparrow Wallet 仿冒品，2025 年已拒绝超 37.1 万个抄袭或误导用户的应用提交。
