Brown & Brown reported a higher second-quarter profit, driven by growth in commission and fees revenue. However, the insurance company's adjusted earnings per share and revenue came in just below analyst estimates. The stock ticked down 3.5% to $67.28 in after-hours trading.
Applied Digital reported higher quarterly revenue that beat Wall Street's expectations as new artificial intelligence data-center capacity came online. Additionally, the AI data-center operator's adjusted earnings per share of 4 cents beat analysts estimates for a loss. The stock rose 5.5% to $27.83 after market close.
Amkor Technology logged an increase in sales and profit in the second quarter as the company expanded partnerships and capitalized on the artificial intelligence momentum. The semiconductor product and services provider's second-quarter earnings per share and revenue beat analyst estimates, but its revenue guidance for the current quarter was short of analyst projections. The stock fell 3.4% to $58.65 after hours.
