据每经，7月24日，人民银行公开市场业务操作室披露，为更好匹配银行体系短期流动性需求，中国人民银行将在7月29日至7月31日、8月3日开展隔夜逆回购操作，采用固定利率、数量招标。7月29日至7月31日每日开展6000亿元，8月3日开展3000亿元。观察银行间隔夜质押式回购利率水平历史数据，该利率通常在月末相对走高而在月初相对下行，反映了资金市场月末资金需求相对加大。东方金诚首席宏观分析师王青指出，这意味着7月末DR001波动性会受到更有力的控制，从而促进短端利率在政策利率附近平稳运行。中信证券首席经济学家明明团队指出，本次隔夜逆回购操作仍然属于月末流动性支持，而7天逆回购利率仍然是主要政策利率。
