ChainCatcher 消息，国际货币基金组织（IMF）在本月发布的金融系统稳定性评估报告中表示，巴西基于加密货币的跨境资金流自 2017 年以来持续增长，规模已超过传统资本流动。报告称，这些资金流多数由稳定币驱动，企业和散户因效率及税务相关因素使用稳定币。稳定币流动与标普 500、VIX、比特币价格等国际和本地投资指标相关，也受汇率、利率、政策不确定性和税收政策变化影响。
IMF 表示，巴西央行已采取措施监管虚拟资产服务提供商（VASP）行业，但客户法律保护、托管资产隔离等领域仍存在不足。反洗钱与打击恐怖主义融资（AML/CFT）方面仍需全面执行旅行规则等国际标准。报告指出，巴西加密系统与传统金融系统存在联系，监管机构需与国内外监管方合作，建立更完善的报告机制。巴西国会正准备审议 4308/2024 号法案，以规范稳定币地位。
