IT之家 7 月 27 日消息，德国电池制造商 VARTA（瓦尔塔）宣布，由于市场环境显著恶化、需求疲软、汇率波动带来负面影响和一位重要客户最近终止合作关系，该控股公司已于当地时间 23 日向德国斯图加特地方法院申请启动破产重组程序，实行自主管理。
VARTA 首席执行官 Michael Ostermann 表示，该企业近几个季度面临着严峻的挑战。其目标是在破产法框架内不受限制地继续运营，通过结构上的调整和外部注资改善企业资金流，并保留尽可能多的工作岗位。
VARTA 的员工仍将得到工资和薪金。由于 VARTA 的消费电池业务部门拥有独立的法律、运营、财务地位，其经营并不受到影响。
