7 月 25 日消息，据科技媒体 The Verge 今天报道，Meta 曾计划对旗下智能眼镜的一项功能收取每月 20 美元（IT之家注：现汇率约合 135.7 元人民币）订阅费用，随后遭到用户强烈反对。
据报道，这项计划收费的无障碍功能名为“对话聚焦”，可通过眼镜内置的麦克风阵列与 AI 技术，将交谈者的声音放大并降低背景杂音，使对话更加清晰。
如今 Meta 发言人 Tyler Yee 确认，公司已经暂停“对话聚焦”收费计划。在公司找到更好替代方案前，该功能将通过抢鲜体验计划免费提供。
值得注意的是，Meta 曾在宣布收费计划时表示，哪怕是付费用户，每个月也只能使用 15 小时“对话聚焦”。部分消费者就此认为，这项服务需要连接服务器、产生额外成本。
然而用户实测显示，该功能完全不需要互联网连接就可以正常工作，因此这种说法也被推翻。
