7月26日，甘肃省公安厅官方微信公众号文章披露，近日，白银市公安局平川分局命案攻坚工作取得重大战果，成功侦破一起16年前的命案积案，抓获犯罪嫌疑人4名。7月23日下午，白银市公安局平川分局“2010·04·07”命案积案专案组凯旋，涉案犯罪嫌疑人被顺利押解回来。
2010年4月7日，白银市平川区发生一起故意伤害致人死亡案件。案发地较为偏僻，无任何视频监控信息，加之现场能够提取到的有效线索较为稀缺，受限于当年刑事技术条件，致使案件侦查工作始终未能取得实质性突破。
16年来，白银市、平川区两级公安机关刑侦部门接力攻坚，组建专班反复梳理现场物证，核查遗留线索，辗转数千公里开展调查取证。特别是今年以来，白银市区两级公安机关严格落实公安部、甘肃省公安厅命案积案攻坚部署，将传统侦查方法与现代技术研判深度融合，再次对该案现场提取物证进行梳理检验复核，最终锁定犯罪嫌疑人赵某某。在掌握案件关键证据后，专案组民警果断出击，于7月21日下午在四川巴中将犯罪嫌疑人赵某某成功抓获。
经审讯，赵某某如实供述了其在白银市平川区，伙同他人将受害人殴打致死的犯罪事实。专案组乘胜追击，将其余3名涉案犯罪嫌疑人全部抓获归案。目前，案件正在进一步深挖侦办中。
