印尼政府于周一官宣，印尼央行行长佩里・瓦尔吉约在本届任期到期前两年递交辞呈。

　　国务秘书普拉塞蒂奥・哈迪于雅加达一场新闻发布会上公布该人事变动，瓦尔吉约并未现身发布会。高级副行长德斯特里・达马扬蒂（Destry Damayanti ）将出任央行代理行长。

　　瓦尔吉约于 2018 年由前总统佐科・维多多任命，目前正处于第二个五年任期。他主导制定了央行疫情期间的各项应对政策，拥有逾 40 年央行从业经验，市场普遍认为其施政风格稳健。

　　然而 2024 年普拉博沃・苏比安托当选总统后，印尼央行面临政策调整压力，政府要求央行货币政策与施政目标深度协同，其中一项核心目标是将年度经济增速从当前约 5% 提升至 8%。今年早些时候，普拉博沃还任命自己的侄子担任央行副行长，这进一步加剧了外界对于央行独立性遭到削弱的担忧。此外，印尼国会于 6 月通过一项法案，拓宽了央行的政策目标范围，将实体经济增长与促进就业纳入其中，同时议员获得了评估央行履职表现的权力。

　　尽管面临上述多重压力，67 岁的瓦尔吉约仍公开表态支持普拉博沃的各项施政方针。例如，他去年曾承诺，货币政策将 “全力支持经济增长”。
