Eli Lilly (LLY) expanded its collaboration with Resilience to invest $750 million as part of its effort to boost US production of Lilly's KwikPen injectable device for diabetes and obesity medicines, Resilience said in a Thursday statement.
The new pharmaceutical manufacturing investments will boost Resilience's manufacturing operations in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is expected to ramp domestic production and supply of critical medicines.
The deal is expected to create 400 new jobs in the Cincinnati region, and the site is expected to be fully operational in early 2027.
