Stellantis Earnings Rebound, but Still Land Short of Expectations

Dow Jones
Jul 30

0825 GMT - Stellantis's adjusted operating income more than tripled to 773 million euros with a margin of 1.8%, but this still came in below Visible Alpha consensus of 1.06 billion euros and a 2.4% margin, Bernstein analysts write. The Europe and North America margins both missed, they add. Guidance remains unchanged except for one incremental detail regarding tariffs. Previously the company had expected a full-year expense of 1.6 billion euros, but now it expects this expense to be 1 billion to 1.2 billion euros. However, this did not change the company's margin or cash guidance, Bernstein adds. Bernstein rates Stellantis at market perform with a 6.20-euro price target. Shares fall 4.8% to 5.03 euros.
