ChainCatcher 消息，FBI 提交至立法委员会的数据开示，2025 年得克萨斯州加密货币自助终端相关损失为 5680 万美元，涉及 1179 起投诉，损失金额居美国各州首位。美国全国相关投诉为 13460 起，报告损失同比增长 58% 至 3.89 亿美元。加密货币自助终端可接收现金并兑换为加密货币，通常设置在加油站和便利店。
Texas Tribune 统计显示，得克萨斯州约有 4000 台此类设备，诈骗者会诱导受害者从银行账户取款并投入机器。得克萨斯州银行部副专员 Jesse Saucillo 表示，资金转出后追回难度接近不可能，资金通常流向非托管钱包，随后进入混币器等环节。他补充称，AI 生成的警察和州机构仿冒内容使电话诱导更具迷惑性。
AARP 数据显示，自 2023 年以来，美国约 30 个州已制定加密货币自助终端相关法律。Indiana 于 3 月全面禁止此类设备，Tennessee 和 Minnesota 随后跟进，得克萨斯州众议院委员会主席 Rep. Cole Hefner 表示该州将考虑超过监管范围的措施。
