路透7月30日 - 公用事业公司Ameren（AEE.N）周四公布，得益于为提高供电可靠性而进行的基础设施投资，其第二季度利润实现增长。
美国能源信息署表示，在去年连续第二年创下年度用电量新高 (link) 之后，2026年和2027年美国的电力消耗将进一步上升。
Ameren表示，截至6月30日的三个月内，归属于普通股股东的净利润从去年的2.75亿美元（合每股1.01美元）增至3.14亿美元（合每股1.13美元）。
其天然气业务季度营收增长12%至2.05亿美元，而电力业务营收则下降约7.4%至18.9亿美元
Ameren表示，维护费用增加（包括以可靠性为重点的树木修剪和能源中心维护），加上因天气较为温和导致的零售电力销量下降，对盈利造成了压力。
这家总部位于密苏里州圣路易斯的公司还重申了其2026年每股5.25至5.45美元的盈利预测。
Ameren通过其受费率监管的公用事业子公司Ameren Missouri和Ameren Illinois，在6.4万平方英里的服务区域内为约250万电力客户和超过90万天然气客户提供服务。
