1035 GMT - AXA booked a solid set of earnings for the first half, analysts at JPMorgan say. The French insurer said its net profit rose 9% on year over the six months as revenue increased, particularly in its life- and health-insurance business. Underlying margins appear to be improving, JPM says, and notes that management is guiding for earnings growth at the upper end of a targeted range. "We think should support the shares into the CMD on Sept. 15," the bank says. AXA shares trade slightly higher at 45.17 euros.
