Barton Gold Holdings (ASX:BGD) identified high-grade gold mineralization during recent drilling at its Tunkillia gold project in South Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The results were up to 22 meters at 0.93 grams per tonne gold from 44 meters depth, including four meters at 2.82 grams per tonne gold from 44 meters depth.
A pre-feasibility study (PFS) for Tunkillia is underway, led by GR Engineering (ASX:GNG), targeting completion in the first quarter of 2027 to accommodate expanded drilling and prospective mineral resource upside in the study, the filing added.
