Metro Mining (ASX:MMI) shipped 1.8 million wet metric tonnes (WMT) of bauxite in the second quarter, up on last year's 1.7 million WMT, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company mined 1.9 million WMT of bauxite during the quarter, also up on last year's 1.7 million WMT, the filing said.
The company reaffirmed its shipment guidance of 6.6 million to 7.1 million WMT for the year, per the filing.
Shares fell nearly 4% in midday trade Thursday.
