智通财经APP获悉，8月3日，香港交易所旗下香港期货交易所正式推出5年期人民币国债期货，相关合约今日起交易。该产品填补了离岸市场国债期货品种的空白，旨在满足境外投资者日益增长的利率风险管理及交易需求，对香港构建完整的离岸人民币产品生态圈具有重要意义。
据港交所公布的合约细则，该产品每张合约面值为50万元人民币，采用现金结算模式。合约月份为最近期的两个季月，日间交易时段为上午9时30分至下午4时30分。交易费方面，每张合约5元人民币，自上市之日起至2027年7月30日，所有市场参与者均可享受五折优惠。
当前，中国债券市场规模巨大且增速迅猛。境外机构持有中国银行间市场债券的规模已从2017年6月的8000亿元人民币增长至2026年5月的3.2万亿元人民币，其中国债约2万亿元。债券市场持续加大对外开放力度，境外投资者持有越来越多的国债，对风险管理的需求愈发旺盛。
香港交易所主席唐家成此前在宣布该产品计划时表示，5年期国债期货是香港固定收益及货币（FIC）产品生态圈建设的一个重要里程碑，将进一步促进中国与国际市场之间的双向资本流动。香港交易所集团行政总裁陈翊庭指出，作为债券通的重要补充，国债期货将和成功运作的互换通一起为投资中国债市的境外投资者提供高效的风险管理工具，巩固香港作为全球领先离岸人民币枢纽的地位。
