8月3日，香港交易所8月3日正式推出五年期人民币国债期货。中国证监会主席吴清在上市仪式上表示，国债期货是国际金融市场最具代表性的利率衍生品之一，在现代金融体系中发挥着日益重要的作用。当前，国际投资者持有中国债券已达3.2万亿元，利率风险管理需求日益增强。三个月前，合格境外投资者（QFI）参与境内国债期货交易落地实施。在中国证监会、中国人民银行以及香港有关方面通力合作下，两地监管和市场机构在规则制定、市场组织、技术实施、风险防控等方面做了大量扎实细致的准备工作，今天，5年期人民币国债期货在香港正式落地，可以说是正当其时、水到渠成。

　　吴清指出，在岸与离岸市场的协同开放，不仅能够为国际投资者提供便捷高效的利率风险管理工具，帮助外资更好更放心地持有中国债券资产，也有利于促进两地国债现货、期货及衍生品市场紧密联动，健全更具韧性和有效性的国债收益率曲线。从长远看，这个重要品种的落地深化，将进一步丰富离岸人民币使用场景，强化香港全球离岸人民币业务枢纽功能，也将更好提升金融服务实体经济的质效。
