蔡崇信与吴明华育有三名子女，均已成年。据蔡崇信与吴明华关于此事的代表表示：多年来，两人已经逐渐演变为“共同抚育子女、经营事业”的伙伴关系。
未来，双方将继续投入现有公益及社区工作，以家人、事业及社区的最佳利益为出发点，以真挚的伙伴身份同行。此次变动不涉及任何出售阿里巴巴股份的计划，蔡崇信继续担任阿里巴巴集团主席。
同时，布鲁克林篮网队、纽约自由人队及其控股公司布鲁克林体育娱乐的运营不会受到此次变动的影响，两人将继续拥有并与专业化管理团队一起守护球队。
