Suzuki Motor (TYO:7269) plans to launch its kei mini electric vehicle in Europe in 2027, Nikkei Asia reported Tuesday.

The minicar, set to debut in Japan this fall, will be produced at the automaker's Shizuoka plant and exported to European countries including the U.K. and Italy, the report said.

The vehicle is expected to be priced below 20,000 pounds in the U.K., according to the report.

Shares of Suzuki Motor fell over 2% in recent trade.
