ChainCatcher 消息，在 Coldcard 硬件钱包曝出固件漏洞、逾 8000 万美元 BTC 被盗、市场重新讨论是否应转向机构托管或直接买入比特币 ETF 之际，知名分析师 Willy Woo 发文回应称，他并不反对 ETF 或托管方案，其在获得认可、接入传统金融体系等方面有诸多益处，但比特币的独特之处在于它是唯一真正具备主权属性的成熟数字资产，没有国籍、无法被国家封锁、稀释或没收，而只有掌握自我托管才能获得这一属性。
Willy Woo 称，二战以来西方大多生活在安全的泡沫中，但正如 Ray Dalio 基于 1500 年历史研究所指出的，稳定本身是一种周期，当周期结束时，人们会需要一份能在世界短暂崩塌时保护自己的储备，而托管资产的机构可能倒闭、政府过去和未来都可能没收资产。他表示当前正处于该周期后段，建议将 15% 的资产配置于比特币与黄金等主权资产。
