消息面上，美东时间8月4日，美股主要指数迎来强势突破，其中标普500指数创下历史新高；纳斯达克指数盘中飙升3.5%，为2025年5月以来最大单日涨幅。业内人士分析指出，此轮上涨的直接催化剂来自多个方向：美国财政部长贝森特Scott Bessent在CNBC表示伊朗协议可能"今明两天"落地，推动油价大跌约6%，通胀预期随之回落，国债收益率下行3至5个基点，为股市提供了有力支撑。
瑞银认为，市场可能低估了当前盈利周期的持续性，低估的程度超过了霍尔木兹海峡地缘政治噪音所带来的影响。基本判断是，海峡的能源流通将逐步恢复而非快速反弹，这将在盈利强劲增长的支持下，继续推动股市上行。瑞银指出美国第二季度财报季势头强劲，盈利超预期的广度和幅度均高于历史平均水平。
