美伊达成一项聚焦霍尔木兹海峡的临时协议的可能性似乎正在上升，卡塔尔表示一份提案已起草。
美国财政部长斯科特·贝森特表示，有关开放霍尔木兹海峡的协议可能在今天或明天达成。
“市场正在对霍尔木兹海峡重新开放的可能做出反应，这可能有助于全球石油供应正常化，并缓解近期能源价格的压力，” 富国投资研究所的Tony Miano说，“油价下跌可以缓解通胀之忧”。
不过Miano警告说，尽管如此，通胀不可能在一夜之间恢复正常。
能源相关压力可能会有所缓解，但整体物价在短期内可能仍将保持高位，从而减少国债收益率下行的空间。
