路透8月5日 - Stardust Power（SDST.O）周三表示，已与Charge CCCV签署了一份不具约束力的意向书，将从其计划在俄克拉荷马州马斯科吉市建设的锂精炼厂供应电池级原料。
Stardust预计将于2028年向这家电池技术公司销售3,000公吨碳酸锂，2029年销售10,000公吨，2030年销售20,000公吨。
随着人们对依赖中国及其他国家进口的担忧日益加剧，美国正争分夺秒地确保国内锂资源供应 (link)，而锂是电动汽车电池的关键成分。
Stardust曾于2025年透露，已与住友商事美洲公司达成一项非约束性协议，将在10年内每年向其出售最多25,000公吨锂，并可延长5年。
这家精炼商表示，如果协议最终敲定，将覆盖其计划锂产量的很大一部分，且如果锂价维持在当前水平，可带来数十亿美元的销售额。
