Chilwa Minerals Says Reconnaissance Drilling at Malawi Heavy Mineral Sands Discovery Intersects a Mineralized, Free-Dig Saprolite Unit

Chilwa Minerals (ASX:CHW) said phase I reconnaissance sonic drilling at its Mpyupyu West heavy mineral sands discovery in Malawi intersected a mineralized, free-dig saprolite unit from the surface, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
A total of 60 holes for 551 meters were completed, representing 22% of the planned 268-hole phase I program.
Resource-definition drilling at Bimbi Main is 62% complete, with 166 holes for 1,843 meters drilled to date. The sonic drilling rig from the site has been moved to the new target at Mpyupyu West.
