路透8月4日 - 据包括美国广播公司（ABC News）在内的 当地媒体 周二援引洛杉矶县消防局的一份报告称，2025年洛杉矶伊顿大火是由南加州爱迪生公司的设备引发的。
南加州爱迪生公司（Southern California Edison，(，SCE，)）是公用事业公司爱迪生国际（Edison International， EIX.N）的子公司，该公司发言人大卫·艾森豪尔（David Eisenhauer）表示，其设备很可能与伊顿大火的起火有关。
“我们已收到洛杉矶县消防局的报告，目前正在审查中，”他补充道。
洛杉矶县消防局尚未立即回应置评请求。
2025年1月，伊顿大火在洛杉矶以东烧毁了超过14,000英亩(（57平方公里)）的土地，随后火势得到控制。
