Transurban Group's WestConnex Raises AU$915 Million Via Asian Term Loan Facilities

Transurban Group (ASX:TCL) said WestConnex Finance Company, the financing vehicle of WestConnex, raised AU$325 million of eight-year, AU$470 million of 10-year, and AU$120 million of 12-year debt via Asian term loan facilities, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
Transurban will use the proceeds to repay existing debt and associated transaction costs, per the filing.
The company said the facilities will rank equally with WestConnex's existing senior secured debt, maturing in August 2034, August 2036 and August 2038 respectively.
Transurban holds a 50% interest in WestConnex.
