路透圣保罗8月6日 - 奇瑞集团9973.HK旗下的中国汽车制造商捷途汽车正在评估在巴西投产的方案，包括与已在该国设厂的制造商共享闲置厂房空间，一位高管向路透透露。
捷途巴西市场总监Henrique Sampaio表示，这种模式可以通过与其他品牌合作实现，类似于捷途在南非与日产汽车7201.T开展的合作安排。
他拒绝透露捷途是否正在就使用CAOA奇瑞位于雅卡雷伊（Jacareí）的一座闲置工厂进行谈判。该工厂自2022年以来一直处于停产状态。
自3月进入巴西市场以来，捷途已售出4,000辆汽车，主要为大型混合动力运动型多用途车（SUV）。
该公司计划到2027年底在巴西投资4亿雷亚尔（7800万美元），其中不包括任何潜在的本地生产成本。
捷途在巴西拥有约60家经销商，该国是全球第六大汽车市场，今年总销量预计将略低于300万辆，捷途的目标是在2026年底前将经销商数量增至100家。
中国汽车制造商在巴西市场迅速扩张，凭借价格更低的电动和混合动力车型抢占市场份额，加剧了市场竞争。
