China Overseas Grand Oceans' Contracted Sales Rise 44% in July

China Overseas Grand Oceans (HKG:0081) recorded contracted sales of around 2.94 billion yuan and a gross floor area (GFA) of 247,900 square meters in July, up 44% and 31%, respectively, from a year prior.

In July, the company acquired a new project in Guangdong Province with a total GFA of 161,256 square meters and land cost of 548.5 million yuan.

For the seven months ended July 31, contracted sales and GFA increased 18% and 14%, respectively, to about 22.1 billion yuan and 1.9 million square meters, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.

As of July 31, property subscription sales stood at 605 million yuan, with a GFA of 44,000 square meters.
