Lupin Wins US FDA Nod for Abbreviated New Drug Application for Hyperkalemia Drug

Lupin (NSE:LUPIN, BOM:500257) received U.S. Food and Drug Administration approval for its abbreviated new drug application for Sodium Zirconium Cyclosilicate for Oral Suspension in 5-gram and 10-gram packets, according to a Tuesday exchange filing.

The drug is indicated for the treatment of hyperkalemia in adults, the filing said.
