据“张家港发布”，受台风“白海豚”影响，8月10日11时，张家港实时雨量全国第二。14时37分，市气象台升级发布暴雨红色预警信号；18时10分起，该市升级启动防汛二级应急响应。

九派新闻记者注意到，受台风“白海豚”侵袭，张家港曼巴特购物广场负一层发生积水倒灌。视频显示，商场负一楼小鹏汽车展厅内展车、椅凳等物品被水冲出，撞破玻璃漂至室外，同层多家商铺遭遇严重水浸。

据新京报，商场为保障顾客安全已临时闭店，恢复营业时间将根据天气动态调整。当地消防救援力量已赶赴现场协助排水，此次积水造成的损失仍在统计。

8月11日，张家港曼巴特购物广场负一层多家商铺表示门店被淹，目前暂停营业。其中一家称：“目前我们人都进不去，所以说具体的损失都不知道。”另外一家商铺称自家损失严重，“东西（设备）都报废了，需要时间整理”，等过几天再恢复营业。一名网友发帖称目前商场的积水还未抽完。

九派新闻从张家港宣传部获悉，受持续降水冲击，张家港全市约有68处路段实施临时封控。各相关部门不间断开展路面巡查，实时监测积水点位水位，调配力量持续强排，对于积水严重路段，设置警示标识，引导车辆、行人绕行，防范涉水通行引发安全事故。城管、水务、交警、消防等多方力量持续在岗值守，根据雨情动态调整抢险方案，全力以赴加快积水消退。
