BASiC Semiconductor Eyes Conversion of Nearly 17 Million Unlisted Shares into H Shares

BASiC Semiconductor (HKG:9971) said its board approved a proposed application to convert 16.8 million unlisted domestic shares into H shares, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The shares represent 5.51% of the company's total issued shares.
Following regulatory approvals, BASiC Semiconductor will apply to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange for the listing and trading of the converted H shares.
The company has not yet submitted the application and filing documents to the China Securities Regulatory Commission, nor has it applied to the Stock Exchange for the conversion and listing.
