8月12日，铝业股涨幅居前，截至发稿，创新实业涨超6%， 中国铝业涨超5%，中国宏桥涨超3%，南山铝业国际跟涨。
消息面上，据财联社报道，挪威海德鲁公司宣布，公司位于巴西的Alunorte工厂因“天然气供应”问题，已将氧化铝产量削减至产能的50%。公开资料显示，Alunorte工厂设计年产能630万吨/年，被称为“中国以外最大的氧化铝厂”。氧化铝是铝冶炼厂的关键原料。
值得注意的是，美伊谈判陷入僵局，霍尔木兹海峡重开前景渺茫，铝市供应担忧持续升温。挪威海德鲁上个月曾警告称，若霍尔木兹海峡的贸易未能恢复正常，今年铝的供应缺口可能会超过该集团预期的90万吨。
