NexGen Energy (ASX:NXG) guided to shorter-duration contracts while reiterating a focus on maximizing spot-exposed sales under its contracting strategy, Euroz Hartleys said in a Friday note.

Euroz Hartleys noted the deferral of initial production to fiscal 2031 on the adoption of more conservative construction timelines with revised capital expenditure timing. Its net asset value estimate was lowered 1% to AU$17.47 per share.

Site construction activities gained pace over the June quarter, with the construction of laydown facilities, effluent diffuser road, clean waterworks, and site road networks tracking to schedule.

The investment firm retained its speculative buy recommendation on NexGen Energy and lowered the price target to AU$21.80 per share from AU$22 per share.
