ChainCatcher 消息，据 Cointelegraph 报道，区块链数据分析机构 Nansen 首席执行官 Alex Svanevik 在最近采访中表示，Robinhood 大概率不会推出代币，因为这可能与其上市公司股票 HOOD 形成竞争关系。
Alex Svanevik 指出，Robinhood 当前推出的 Layer 2 网络已经基于以太坊生态运行，并拥有用于支付网络费用的 Gas 代币，因此没有必要额外发行一个平台代币。他认为，Robinhood 布局区块链基础设施的核心目的在于利用区块链技术提升产品能力，而不是通过发行代币进行融资或构建新的经济模型。
此前，市场曾猜测 Robinhood 可能效仿部分加密项目推出生态代币，但目前来看该公司更可能将区块链作为底层技术工具，而非围绕代币建立业务体系。
